June 2015 Aerial Photos

On the 27th of June we flew over the Kaneiolouma site once more to document the progress. This pass showed extensive clearing along the west and south borders of the village, along with the welcome view of bright green grass growing nicely along the perimeter wall and viewing area. Also of note are the markings placed by surveyor Dave Wellman which outline the taro patch and fish pond areas near Poipu Beach Park. These areas are highlighted for reclamation work which will be part of the upcoming Phase Three of the project.

Hui Malama O Kaneiolouma would like to extend our most sincere Mahalo to Mauna Loa Helicopters for their generous donation of flight time and for their generous support of the Kaneiolouma project.
