We Support Mauna Kea at Kaneiolouma

The current debate over the TMT (Thirty Meter Telescope) construction on the Big Island has the attention of the world. US government and capital interests are battling the cultural self-preservation instincts of Hawaiian people. Already there have been numerous protests, arrests, and much has been written about the unfolding situation. This has become a symbol and catalyst for young Hawaiians to take pride in their heritage. Hui Malama o Kaneiolouma shares this vision and supports all those who endeavor to protect Mauna a Wākea.
