Generous Donations from Kiahuna Plantation

This week Kaneiolouma wishes to extend a most sincere Mahalo to the homeowners of the Kiahuna Plantation and to the management company itself for their most generous donations totalling $1500.

A group of the homeowners, led by Barbara Siverts, who said, "We are thrilled to have such an important piece of Kauai history right here, and that it is being so thoughtfully resurrected." The group visited the Heiau and recieved a deeper glimpse of the true history of this location. Each member of the group was given the chance to ask questions after the presentation.

To put a this great project forward like this together, striving to preserve the past as part of the future, donations are needed. Today the General Manager of Kiahuna Plantation Resort, Mr. Chris Gampon, followed up the expression of good will and support by handing a check to Po'o Rupert Rowe and Billy Kaohelauli'i.

These funds will be used to pay in part for the upcoming fish pond restoration efforts, and are very much appreciated.
